We have known Cathie Lively for the past 17 years and during this time we have had several business dealings with her.  In every interaction Cathie has demonstrated the highest caliber of professionalism.   In our experience Cathie's greatest attribute is her unquestionable integrity; she tells her clients what they "need" to hear rather than what they "want" to hear. Whether she is relaying good news or bad she is always truthful and direct in her delivery of the information. No matter how long a property took to sell, Cathie continually invested time and money into the promotion of said property and always appeared to go above and beyond the average real estate representative in her attempts to seek out potential buyers or opportunities for us.  One of the things that impresses us about her sales approach is that she would tell us in advance exactly how she recommended that the property be promoted for sale and then she implemented the "agreed upon" strategy. Cathie has never forced her views or opinions on us, instead she has always provided us with information based on her experience and expertise, and then encouraged us to make decisions that we are most comfortable with. The strategy implemented always incorporated our input and reflected our wishes.

Recently Cathie sold property for us: she met with us and identified several approaches that could be taken to sell the property; she identified the potential benefits and risks associated with each approach; when queried she told us which of the approaches she would implement if it was her own property for sale; she gave us time alone to discusss and weigh the options without pressure of any kind; we opted to authorize her to take the approach she herself would employ if she owned the property; she implemented all of the promotional efforts that she told us in advance that she would; she provided us with excellent feedback throughout; ten days after she listed our property she presented us with six offers; and finally, we accepted an unconditional offer well above the list price that more than satisfied all of our expectations.

We have never and would never hesitate to recommend Cathie to friends and family members.  We trust her implicitly.  We respect the moral and ethical fiber in her character that influences her professional dealings.  We are extremely comfortable in stating that we would never consider employing the services of any other real estate sales representative as long as she is available to provide us with that service!!!

Sylvie and I would like to express our sincerest thanks and appreciation for all the great work done for us by the Cathie Lviely Real Estate Team. Having used two other agents previously to sell the house I can say that your work was exceptional. Our home, an older residence in Centretown, had been listed on the market for one year.
